Thermal Imaging - Infrared Scanning of a House
The US Department of Energy recommends EVERY house be scanned using an infrared thermal imaging camera. For a reasonable cost, we can scan your house, too.
Using the latest in thermal imaging cameras, Medallion will conduct an interior scan of the insulation, HVAC ducts, and electrical panel in your home.
We can spot areas where the insulation is insufficient, missing, or installed incorrectly - with the potential to waste energy.
When we check the HVAC ducts, we can see where precious conditioned air is leaking.
And we'll check the main breaker panel to see if a branch circuit or breaker is overheating - before it turns into a more serious problem.
Finally, during our normal inspections, if we see a stain on a ceiling, or something suspicious on a wall,. we will use our infrared camera to help identify the condition. So while other inspectors are guessing, Medallion is using the latest technology to help you make an informed decision.
