We inspect new, under-construction and resale homes, townhomes and condos throughout metro Atlanta. Guaranteed.
We are certified members of ASHI, the American Society of Home Inspectors, the original and most respected professional home inspector association in the country. Our chief inspector is also a certified GAHI inspector, the Georgia Association of Home Inspectors, which has the highest professional requirements for membership in the nation. We adhere to the Code of Ethics and Standards of Practice of ASHI. This protects you, the home buyer. We are a team of 2 inspectors who always perform each inspection together for the same price others charge for only one inspector.
But most important, we always get on the roof if physically possible. You just can't see roof problems from the ground, not matter how powerful the binoculars. Don't be surprised with a large roof repair bill. Get the roof checked by walking on it, especially brand new homes. You would be shocked to see the damage left behind by painters, siding people, brick masons, plumbers, HVAC people, and even the roofers. Check out our "Roof Problems" tab see for yourself.
Our inspectors are also certified by the ICC (formerly known as CABO), the International Code Council. This is the organization that actually writes the building codes adopted as law in Georgia. Being code certified means whether you are buying an existing home, or having a new one built, we know what is required, permissible, and good building practice. We understand what is safe, what is required, whether a new or existing home.
It takes about 2 1/2 hours start to finish for a typical home. Large or old homes take longer. This includes the time it takes to inspect the house, prepare the report, and review it with you at the home if you attend. Then, when we're done, we'll upload the report to our secure server and send you an email containing a link to retrieve your report. We take advantage of technology to improve our service to you.
