Our inspectors are certified by the ICC (formerly known as CABO), the International Code Council. This is the organization that actually writes the building codes adopted as law in Georgia. Being code certified means whether you are buying an existing home, or having a new one built, we know what is required, permissible, and good building practice. We understand what is safe, what is required, whether a new or existing home.

It takes about 2 hours start to finish for a typical home. Large, older or damaged foreclosure homes take longer. This includes the time it takes to inspect the house and discuss major items with you. Later that day, we'll prepare your report and upload it to our secure server and send you an email containing a link to retrieve your report. Finally, beware of the inspector offering you a 'free 90 day warranty! It's not really free. The inspector is giving your name, address, telephone number and email address, along with the details about the house you are buying to a home security company. They will then call, write, email and nag you to buy their system. In return, they pay a small fee - about $15 - to a small company in another state to protect you for up to about $2,500 for 90 days - but only the items not reported with repairs needed in the inspector's report. We could offer these too, but in our opinion the so-called guarantee is not worth the substantial limits and breach of your privacy.
